Micro Cannula Dermal Fillers
for a more youthful and full appearance
This is not the case with a cannulated injection. The cannula tool is a blunt and rounded instrument. One injection to insert the cannula is all that is required. Due to its shape, the cannula is then pushed and directed through the levels of soft tissues in the face and deposits the filler where required. Simply, the delivery mechanism has changed…pushing away rather than transecting through the tissues. There is no need for anaesthetic and rarely is there bruising or swelling.
Most importantly, the blunt cannula tip prevents intra-arterial injections or skin necrosis which can cause the most devastating results. All of this translates into a much more comfortable injection procedure, with very little downtime and greatly minimized risks. Dr. Kolenda has pioneered cannula injection method in Canada and has been injecting facial dermal fillers this way since 2007.
