Paul Carter
Dr Paul Carter is a highly trained plastic surgeon both in reconstructive and aesthetic plastic surgery. He has had the great privilege of working both in the United Kingdom and in Canada. This has allowed him to bring innovative and reliable techniques to serve the plastic surgical needs of patients in the Halton region and the wider GTA.

He began his medical career graduating from the University of Oxford in England. It was there he met his wife Elaine who is a Toronto native. He then moved to Canada and completed a rigorous and intensive plastic surgery residency program at the University of Toronto. He then completed a fellowship in breast reconstruction and hand surgery at the University of Dalhousie in Nova Scotia.
Dr. Carter has been on full time staff at Joseph Brant Hospital since 2018 with a broad practice servicing the Halton region and beyond. Outside of work he has a busy family life with three energetic young children and enjoys basketball, running and watersports.
Dr. Carter has an affable, kind and purposeful personality and he seeks to understand exactly what patients are aiming for. He sees every patient as unique and his focus is on providing every patient with the best possible experience in the process of achieving their goals.
